The SPF Single port Light Source can output UVA or UVA+UVB. The output intensity is used with an output of 5 MED's per minute. The 16S is ideal for UV induced erythema because of its class "A" spectral output, +/- 5% uniformity, and 2% output stability. These specifications make the 16S ideal for testing because of the accuracy of results coming from a uniform and stable light source. The output is approximately 20 times the intensity of the sun and accurately simulates the ultraviolet spectrum of the sun.
