The Model 601 Multiport™
outputs UV radiation in the region of 290 to 400 nm specifically for
SPF testing and dermatological studies. With an intensity of up to to 4 MED's
per minute for each output the Model 601 Multiport™
is ideal for testing laboratories where a large number of tests need to be completed. The output is approximately 20 times the intensity of the sun and accurately simulates the ultraviolet spectrum of the sun.
The intensity of the output can be controlled by adjustment knobs on each port and from the power supply. Solar Light
TM solar simulators are used in 95% of SPF testing laboratories globally and meet the latest COLIPA, JCIA, and FDA spectral irradiance standards.
Features:
Service and Warranty:
Solar Light provides free telephone technical support for the life of our products. We also provide a 1 year Standard Warranty on all of our products covering parts and labor.
> Extended Warranty Plans are also available.
Applications:
The model 601 Multiport™ Solar Simulator precisely reproduces the solar ultraviolet spectrum while eliminating the visible and infrared light. This results in UV levels 15-20 times stronger than tropical sun without the thermal portion.
Its 6 independently adjustable outputs allow for 6 tests to be conducted simultaneously, greatly reducing testing time.

Optional Equipment:
> An automatic Dose Control System, can be purchased separately to monitor the output and automatically control the delivered dose.
It cumulates the amount of UV being outputted and automatically closes a shutter stopping the UV exposure when a preset dose of UV has been reached.
