PMA 2106 Non-Weighted UVB Detector

The PMA2106 UVB detector gives an accurate measurement of non-weighted UVB ultraviolet radiation from sunlight or artificial light sources. The detector has angular response very close to an ideal cosine function (Lambertian response) making it suitable for measurements of diffuse radiation or radiation generated by extended sources. The PMA2106 is designed to be used with the PMA2100 or PMA2200 UV meters / Radiometers.

FEATURES

  • High sensitivity
  • Dynamic range 2*105
  • Excellent long term stability
  • Cosine corrected
  • NIST traceable calibration

APPLICATIONS

  • Laboratory and industrial radiometry
  • Phototherapy
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Material testing
  • UV-B transmission measurements
  • Agriculture

> Weatherproof UVB Detector available

> Underwater UVB Detector available

> Detectors need to be used with a Radiometer

> Analog version of this detector can be used with any 0 to 5 VDC or 4 to 20mA recording device

When used with the PMA2100 or PMA2200 UV meters, the measured irradiance can be displayed in mW/cm2 as well as a W/m2. High dynamic range allows measurements of very weak signals down to 0.001 mW/cm2. To measure very strong irradiances up to 200mW/cm2, choose the PMA2106B
