PMMA Plate Pre-Irradiation Testing

Solar Light’s state-of-the-art single output LS1000-Series and 16S-Series Solar Simulators produce solar UV radiation in the 290–400 nm range and can be quickly and easily configured by the user to provide UVA only, UVB only, UVA+B, or optional full-spectrum sunlight. Available in models ranging from 300W / 3″ (5.7 cm) to 1000W / 6″ (15.25 cm), these precision research-grade instruments are specifically designed for the pre-irradiation step during in vitro broad spectrum sunscreen testing. Configurations are available to meet a range of pre-irradiation ISO standards—including ISO 24443:2012, ISO 24443:2021, ISO 23675, and ISO 23698—helping laboratories maintain compliance with evolving FDA and ISO regulatory requirements. Optional Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and ISO 24443 Spectral Validation Certification documentation are also available. Everything required for immediate testing right out of the crate is included direct from the factory: Solar Simulator, Power Supply, Automatic Dose Controller / Radiometer, NIST-traceable PMA-Series Erythema and UVA Sensors, molded or sandblasted PMMA Plates, and all related accessories.
