Solar Light’s 300W single output 16S-300-2.2-UV Solar Simulator produces a 2.2″ (5.7 cm) spot beam solar UV radiation in the 290-400nm range, with over 90% uniformity in the usable area. The output can be quickly and easily configured by the user to provide UVA only, UVB only, UVA+B, or full spectrum sunlight optionally. An automatic shutter with remote control connection is included. Standard beam orientation is horizontal, but vertical orientation and liquid light guide attachments are available optionally, along with a host of other accessories to tailor the simulator to your specific application. These precision research-grade instruments are specifically designed to comply with the latest laboratory standards such as ASTM, IEC, and ISO. 16S-Series simulators can reliably produce UV levels several times stronger than tropical sun, without any of the associated heat load, which is ideal for measuring the damaging effects of UV during materials testing.
