Our final event of the year will be New Product Demo Days, taking place on December 8 – 9th. This free interactive event brings together a variety of resources from the photonics community and related technologies to one convenient virtual location. Over the two-day period, visitors will be able to view educational and vendor-submitted product videos, get information about the newest products and technology, and network with industry leaders and manufacturers.
Optronic Laboratories will be showcasing the OL 459 Tunable LED Light Standard, a NIST-traceable radiance/ luminance calibration standard ideal for such applications as camera/image sensor calibration, diagnostic medical imaging, and technical/ industrial photography. A 6-inch diameter integrating sphere and display panel are used to monitor and adjust the driving current and luminance of 5 separate, temperature-controlled LED channels. PTFE coating provides a highly diffuse reflectance over the visible and into the NIR wavelength range.
